The Disney Wish Sails from New York City

Okay, New Yorkers, THIS is the one! For the first time ever, the Disney Wish will sail right out of New York City, offering a magical, limited season of just seven sailings beginning in September 2027. Five of these cruises whisk guests off to Bermuda, with three itineraries tacking on an extra day in port, because let’s be honest, one day among those famous pink sand beaches is basically a crime against vacationing. The remaining sailings set sail for New England and Canada’s Atlantic coast, marking Disney Cruise Line’s grand return to the region for the first time in nearly four years. Crunchy leaves, cozy coastal towns, and a Disney ship? We’re already dreaming in flannel. Itineraries range from four to seven nights, so there’s a little something for every schedule.

New Caribbean Sailings from San Juan

If your happy place involves sunshine, impossibly turquoise water, and hopping from island to island like a very well dressed castaway, get ready to swoon. Both the Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will offer five- to seven-night Southern and Eastern Caribbean cruises departing from San Juan, Puerto Rico, throughout Fall 2027 and Spring 2028. Starting your cruise in San Juan flings open the door to destinations you won’t always find on a Florida based itinerary, and if you can sneak in a few extra days in Puerto Rico beforehand, even better, consider it a warm-up act for the main event. And don’t worry, the classic Caribbean and Bahamian departures from Florida aren’t going anywhere, so there’s sunshine to spare all season long.

New Adventures in Florida

Florida remains the beating, sunshine soaked heart of Disney Cruise Line, but Fall 2027 brings some seriously exciting plot twists. For the first time ever, the Disney Destiny will home port in Port Canaveral, offering three- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and the Western Caribbean after kicking off her season in Fort Lauderdale.

Double the island time, double the fun: the Disney Treasure and Disney Dream will each offer special six-night Bahamian sailings featuring TWO stops at Disney Castaway Cay. Because really, one Castaway Cay day is basically a cruel tease.

And here’s the showstopper we cannot stop talking about: the Disney Fantasy will sail to Bermuda for the very first time, on a dreamy eight-night cruise departing Fort Lauderdale that also includes stops at both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point. Bermuda plus two private island paradises, all on one ship? That’s not an itinerary, that’s a bucket list with a bow on it.

Beyond all these shiny new additions, guests will still find plenty of beloved Bahamian and Caribbean sailings aboard the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure, Disney Dream and Disney Fantasy from both Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale.

Two Panama Canal Crossings Aboard the Disney Magic

Calling all cruisers who never, ever want the vacation to end: the Disney Magic will offer two glorious 14-night Panama Canal cruises, one in Fall 2027 and another in Spring 2028. Each introduces a brand new port of call for Disney Cruise Line. The eastbound itinerary visits Fuerte Amador (Panama City), while the westbound itinerary visits Colón, Panama. Repositioning cruises are the industry’s best kept secret: more sea days mean more Broadway caliber shows, more character encounters, more leisurely dinners, and more lounging poolside than should probably be legal. Toss in an actual passage through the Panama Canal, and you’ve got yourself a genuine, once in a lifetime, tell your grandkids about it voyage.

An Expanded Season in San Diego

West Coast Disney fans, your moment in the sun has officially arrived! The Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will both kick off Fall 2027 sailing from San Diego, offering three- to seven-night cruises to Baja and the Mexican Riviera. The Disney Wonder will plant her flag in San Diego through Fall 2027 and Spring 2028, with itineraries that may include Ensenada, Cabo San Lucas and Catalina Island. Following her big Panama Canal crossing, the Disney Magic will sail on to Galveston, Texas, offering four- to seven-night cruises. And Texas cruisers, here’s a delightful little surprise: select seven-night Bahamian sailings from Galveston will visit both Disney Castaway Cay and Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point on the very same trip. Two private island destinations, one cruise. Be still our sandy little hearts.

Disney Cruise Line - Magic at Sea

New Destination in Southeast Asia

The Disney Adventure keeps right on charming guests in Singapore, with new three- and four-night itineraries available September through December 2027. There’s also a brand new destination twinkling on the horizon: select sailings between December 31, 2026, and May 2027 may include a stop in Langkawi, Malaysia, complete with jaw-dropping coastline and lush rainforest, marking a first ever port for Disney Cruise Line.

Holiday Cruises Return

There’s something wonderfully magical about celebrating a holiday out at sea, and two guest favorites are sailing back into the fold for Fall 2027. Halloween on the High Seas returns on select sailings beginning September 2027, bringing spooky-fun themed entertainment, costumed Disney characters, deck parties, and of course, trick-or-treating at sea for the whole family. Then the jack-o’-lanterns give way to twinkling lights as Very Merrytime Cruises return in November and December 2027, complete with festive treats, special entertainment, deck parties, tree lighting celebrations, and a very special visit from Santa himself. Naughty list or nice, everyone’s welcome.
