Prepare to be captivated by Disney Cruise Line’s first-ever stage adaptation of Moana, titled The Tale of Moana. This Broadway-level production takes audiences on Moana’s journey to save her island, complete with dazzling effects, heart-stirring songs, and all the humor and heart we love about this groundbreaking film. This exclusive experience is only available on the Disney Treasure, making it a must-see for Moana fans of all ages. We were lucky enough to see a preview of act one of this show and were blown away by the talented cast, authentic choreography, creative puppetry and beautiful set design and effects.

Dining and Entertainment That Dazzles

Dining aboard the Treasure is nothing short of magical. At Plaza de Familia, inspired by Disney and Pixar’s Coco, guests are treated to an evening of authentic Mexican cuisine, lively dancing, and appearances by beloved characters like Miguel and his family (the Rivera family on night one, and Mamá Imelda and Héctor and friends for Dia de los Muertos on night two!). The vibrant setting feels like stepping right into the Land of the Dead and in our opinion the atmosphere of this restaurant is unparalleled on other Disney cruise ships! Our favorite show stopping piece of imagineering was the ofrenda which is featured just as you walk in and hosts family photos and marigolds from Coco.

For Marvel fans, the Worlds of Marvel restaurant introduces a Groot-inspired dining experience featuring delicious meals paired with action-packed storytelling. Get ready for some laugh-out-loud moments with Baby Groot and an epic Marvel adventure right at your table! We loved the energy of the crew during this meal, and the interactive Marvel trivia throughout the meal using the quantum core your table!

Haunted Mansion Parlor

Okay, Disney fans, here’s the deal—the new Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Treasure is incredible! We were allowed a sneak peak during our time on board, with a preview of the entertainment that happens in this one of a kind lounge. Picture this: you step into a room that feels like you’ve walked straight into the Haunted Mansion, with sinister decor, vintage furniture, and all kinds of spooky details (including the iconic Haunted Mansion wallpaper). And yes, Madame Leota is making her presence known—rumor has it she’ll be adding her signature eerie flair to the space! It’s the perfect spot to grab a themed drink and soak up the ghostly vibes. The best news? Crew members let us know that no reservations are needed to visit the Haunted Mansion Parlor! With the Treasure sailing on 7-night itineraries, there’ll be plenty of time to stop by and enjoy it. I can already hear her saying, “Serpents and spiders, tail of a rat…” This is going to be a must-do!
