Lakeshore Lodge: A New Deluxe Resort Coming to Walt Disney World
A brand-new Deluxe Resort is coming to Walt Disney World! Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge will officially open on July 1, 2027, bringing a massive new resort to the shores of Bay Lake.
The resort will feature 967 guest rooms alongside plenty of ways to enjoy your time outside the parks. A lazy river, interactive water play areas for kids, and three dining options are just a few of the amenities offered.
Disney has also given us our first look inside the rooms and revealed when reservations will open for Disney Vacation Club Members, Annual Passholders, and all other Disney World guests.
Let’s take a look at what’s coming to Lakeshore Lodge and when you can book your first stay.
Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge is a brand-new Deluxe Resort currently under construction along Bay Lake at Walt Disney World. The resort will officially welcome its first guests on July 1, 2027.
With 967 guest rooms, Lakeshore Lodge will be one of the largest Disney Park resorts. Its waterfront location will put guests a short boat ride from Magic Kingdom, while the resort itself is being designed as a relaxing retreat surrounded by nature.
Throughout the resort, Disney storytelling will blend into the natural surroundings. Disney films including Bambi, Pocahontas, Brother Bear, Encanto, and Fantasia inspire everything from guest rooms to recreation areas.

Many of the accommodations at Lakeshore Lodge will be available for Disney Vacation Club Members, including Duo Studios, Deluxe Studios, Villas, Grand Villas, and the waterfront Lake Houses.
However, you don’t have to be a DVC Member to experience the new resort!
Resort Studios will be available for all guests to book, with standard rooms sleeping up to four and Resort Studio King rooms sleeping up to two. Both room types will draw inspiration from Pocahontas, featuring earthy colors, carved wood details, and scenic murals inspired by the landscapes of the film.
The full lineup of accommodations includes:

Of course, there will be plenty to explore outside your room, too! Here are a few of the highlights coming to Disney’s Lakeshore Lodge.
The waterfront location plays a big role in the overall Lakeshore Lodge experience. Guests will find beautiful views of Bay Lake throughout the resort, complementing its nature-inspired design. Plus, due to its proximity to Magic Kingdom, select areas of the resort will offer views of the fireworks.
The location also gives guests another transportation option to the Magic Kingdom. Complimentary water transportation will take guests between Lakeshore Lodge and the park.

The Wetlands will serve as Lakeshore Lodge’s expansive outdoor recreation area. Here, guests will find Lakeshore Lagoon, a zero-entry pool complete with a spiral waterslide.
And, Daydream River will offer a relaxing way to float through the resort’s natural surroundings.
Families with younger children can also explore interactive wet and dry play areas inspired by the music and storytelling of Pocahontas.

Lakeshore Lodge will introduce three new places to grab a bite:

Club Level guests will have access to The Artist’s Nest, an elevated lounge overlooking the treetops. Guests can enjoy personalized service, complimentary refreshments, and views across Disney World.
