Some of the most popular “Heroic Encounters” required reservations in the Disney Cruise Line app. Meanwhile, others had scheduled times with standby lines. In addition, there were spontaneous roaming appearances, especially along Deck 4 and the pool deck.
What stood out most, however, was the quality of the interactions. Superheroes took their time with guests of all ages. Kids were encouraged to flex their muscles or talk about their favorite heroes. At the same time, adults often found themselves deep in conversation about movies and storylines. Lisa admitted she was completely starstruck more than once.
