Disney Believe: What’s New, What’s Different & Where the Ship Will Sail
It’s time to set sail!
Disney Cruise Line has revealed even more details about the Disney Believe, the newest ship joining the Disney Cruise Line fleet in late 2027.
And if you’ve been wondering what will make this ship different from the Disney Wish, Disney Treasure and Disney Destiny, we finally have some answers.
The Disney Believe will bring even more beloved Disney stories to sea, with new dining, lounges and entertainment inspired by films including Encanto, Frozen, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, The Little Mermaid and more.
Be Our Guest Vacations was invited to a special preview of the Disney Believe announcement, where we got an early look at the stories, spaces and experiences that will bring Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship to life.
The presentation gave us a little taste of what’s ahead, too. Disney Legend and Broadway star Susan Egan took the stage to perform “When Will My Life Begin?” from Tangled, while Broadway performers and voices from Encanto performed a medley from the film.
And that was just the beginning!
Here’s a closer look at what’s coming to the Disney Believe.
Disney Believe reservations will open in phases beginning with Disney Cruise Line’s most frequent cruisers.

The Disney Believe isn’t simply repeating the formula of the ships that came before it. Many of its headline experiences are being created specifically for this ship.

The Disney Believe will debut Disney Encanto, the world’s first stage adaptation of the movie Encanto. The new production will follow Mirabel as she sets out to save her family and their magical village from a fateful prophecy.
During the livestream preview, performers gave us an early taste of the production with a live medley from the film.
For anyone who has ever belted out “We Don’t Talk About Bruno” or “Surface Pressure,” this may quickly become one of the most anticipated experiences aboard the Disney Believe.
Why we’re excited: Disney Cruise Line’s stage productions are one of the things that make a Disney cruise feel elevated and unlike any other cruise vacation. Encanto is centered around family, colorful characters and incredible music, making it a natural fit for a Disney Cruise Line production.

There’s even more Broadway-style entertainment on the way!
Disney’s Tangled: The Musical will return aboard the Disney Believe with an updated scenic design, giving the fan-favorite stage show a fresh look for Disney Cruise Line’s newest ship.
Guests can once again join Rapunzel, Flynn Rider and familiar friends for a retelling of Tangled featuring favorite songs from the film alongside music created especially for the stage production.
Why we’re excited: Tangled has been a longtime favorite aboard Disney Cruise Line, so we love that Disney is refreshing the production for the Disney Believe while keeping a beloved show in the lineup.
Hoo-hoo!
The Disney Believe is getting an all-new Frozen dining experience with Oaken’s Table: A Frozen Family Feast.
The theatrical restaurant transports guests into a forest setting inspired by the Frozen films. Guests will dine beneath grassy rooftops and overhanging birch branches while enjoying family-friendly dishes inspired by Nordic flavors.
Why we’re excited: Disney Cruise Line has turned rotational dining into part of the entertainment on its newest ships, and this sounds like another experience where dinner becomes much more than a meal.

The Wishing Well will bring Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs to life in a new bar and lounge aboard the Disney Believe.
The space incorporates details inspired by the classic Disney story, including white blossoms and red apples.
And, of course, you can’t tell the story of Snow White without the Evil Queen.
During the Disney Believe preview, Disney showed off an Evil Queen-inspired concoction, giving us a taste of how the Disney Villain will influence the new space.
Why we’re excited: The Evil Queen has plenty of personality to work with, and we love seeing one of Disney’s earliest animated stories interpreted in an entirely new way.

Life is the bubbles under the sea!
Sea Notes is a new piano bar inspired by Ariel’s undersea grotto from The Little Mermaid.
The lounge will have a chic, contemporary look, and an iridescent design. At its center will be an elegant piano imagined as one of the forgotten treasures from Ariel’s collection.
Why we’re excited: The lounges have become some of our favorite spaces on Disney’s newest ships. The Haunted Mansion Parlor aboard the Disney Treasure is wildly popular among Disney Parks fans, while De Vil’s aboard the Disney Destiny puts its own stylish spin on a Disney Villain.

There’s always room for dessert on a Disney cruise.
Inside Out: Joyful Sweets is coming to the Disney Believe with an updated design inspired by Inside Out 2.
Joy and Sadness will be joined by larger-than-life sculptures of Anxiety and Envy, along with the “Sense of Self” structure introduced in the sequel.
Expect plenty of colorful treats and plenty of opportunities to embrace your emotions.
Why we’re excited: We’re always in favor of another excuse for Disney Cruise Line dessert!
We previously learned that Moana would provide the inspiration for the Disney Believe’s Grand Hall, but Disney gave us a much closer look during the presentation.
The reveal itself was appropriately theatrical, with musician Noah performing “How Far I’ll Go” as Disney unveiled the new space.
The Grand Hall will celebrate the spirit of exploration at the heart of the Moana films, with a chandelier and ceiling design inspired by the vibrant world of the movie.
At the center of the Grand Hall, a bronze statue of Moana will stand alongside Pua and Heihei, continuing the Disney Cruise Line tradition of placing beloved characters at the heart of its ships.

Even Disney adventures need a little caffeine.
Guests will find two new cafes inspired by Moana and Big Hero 6 aboard the Believe.
Café Kakamora brings Moana into another area of the ship, while Big Hero Sips takes inspiration from Big Hero 6.
These smaller spaces are another way Disney can weave its stories into everyday moments onboard, including something as simple and necessary as that morning coffee.
Not everything aboard the Disney Believe will be completely new. Instead, Disney is mixing new concepts with some popular experiences from its newest ships.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor will materialize aboard the Disney Believe with a new chapter in the story of the 999 happy haunts.
Worlds of Marvel will also return with Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix, following Groot during his on-screen quest to throw the ultimate surprise party for Rocket.
There are new touches for younger cruisers, too. The Disney’s Oceaneer Club entrance will take inspiration from Monstropolis, while Zootopia gets an experience where guests can encounter Gazelle and join Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde as they work their latest case.
And then there’s Skygazers, a night-sky-inspired space filled with constellations and nods to classic Disney stories. Keep an eye on the stars for familiar figures, including Mufasa and Jiminy Cricket.
The AquaMouse will also return aboard the Disney Believe with four different shows featuring music, lighting, special effects and, naturally, plenty of splashes.
The Disney storytelling continues when it’s time to head back to your stateroom.
Disney has shared a first look at the accommodations aboard the Disney Believe, and the rooms continue the bright, elegant style found aboard Disney Cruise Line’s newest ships while incorporating artwork and details inspired by favorite Disney stories.
Guests can expect rooms inspired by characters and worlds from across Disney and Pixar, with different artwork appearing throughout the ship.
The crown jewel is the Believe Tower Suite, an upscale suite inspired by Magic Kingdom Park.
Here’s a quick look:

The Disney Believe doesn’t set sail until December 2027, but we’re already dreaming about stepping onboard.
Whether it’s singing along with the Madrigal family, enjoying dinner in the world of Frozen, discovering a new favorite lounge or simply standing beneath the ocean-inspired chandelier in the Grand Hall, there will be plenty of new experiences waiting for Disney cruisers.
And now that we know where the Disney Believe is sailing, it’s officially time to start thinking about those vacation plans.
